In my six summers working at Vesper Country Club between high school and college, I have worked under three assistant superintendents. The first two were genuinely difficult to work under and inspired very little respect or motivation. This resulted in low crew morale, and though I continued to put forth good work, there was little gratification in it. Mark Mello has been a boon for crew morale and work output. He has a stable and consistent temperament, so everyone knows what to expect day in and day out, something I rarely experienced before he started working at Vesper. He has always been available for me whenever I have reached out for assistance at work. I have witnessed him handle many high-stress situations calmly and methodically, keeping everything running smoothly and the stress levels down amongst the crew. He is personable and easy to approach and has helped bring the atmosphere of work to its highest since I have started working there.
